Let's face it,
Some folks come from the Shallow end of the gene pool!
Here are a few Real-Life examples!
Virginia police say a man thought a helicopter landing
near his garage was a terrorist attack,
so he opened fire.
But the chopper was actually just picking up his neighbor
Now, the man, (pictured, above), and the pilot,
are both facing charges from the July 13 incident in Williamsburg.
Authorities say the man who fired the assault-style rifle is charged
with interfering with an aircraft, assault and other charges.
He faces up to eight years in prison
and $10,000 in fines if convicted.
The pilot is facing a misdemeanor charge of
recklessly operating an aircraft. He could be sentenced to a month in jail.
The gunman told police it was a natural reaction after Sept. 11.
A man walked into a Burger King in Ypsilanti, Michigan at 8:50AM,
flashed a gun and demanded cash.
The clerk turned him down because he said he couldn't
open the cash register without a food order.
When the man ordered onion rings,
the clerk said they weren't available for breakfast.
The man, frustrated, walked away.
Idiot in Seattle,
When a man attempted to siphon gasoline from a motor home
parked on a Seattle street, he got much more than he bargained for.
Police arrived at the scene to find an ill man curled up
next to a motor home near spilled sewage.
A police spokesman said that the man admitted to trying to steal gasoline
and plugged his hose into the motor home’s sewage tank by mistake.
The owner of the vehicle declined to press charges,
saying that it was the best laugh he'd ever had.
And so it goes...
